WHAT WE DO
Hindusthani Musical School Iman Kalyan was born out of the educational vision of Sangeet Ratna Pt. Sant Kumar, a Musical educationalist of the Twentieth century in South India. He had an Idea of building the lost knowledge of music in the present youth for the Future.
Established in 2005 as Hindusthani Musical School, it undertook path-breaking initiatives in Indian Musical education with the introduction of innovative and modern curriculum, insistence on academic discipline, and adoption of higher education practices with the support of creative and dedicated teachers. Later on, the Karnataka State Government identified it as a School with Potential for Excellence in 2014.
The multi-disciplinary School which focuses on teaching in Carnatic, Hindustani, Bhajan, Ghazals, Tagore Songs, Nazrulgeeti, Thumri, Instrumentals to over 500 students. The campus is a living example for the harmonious multiculturalism with students from different states of India. A promoter of music and literary activities, it is a nurturing ground for creative excellence.
